Jump To the Last Row Or Column In Your Data With A Double Click Of Your Mouse

I love keyboard shortcuts in Excel, being able to work really quickly can increase your productivity hugely and of course makes you look awesome at Excel.
So here is a tip that is really useful if you need to jump to the last row or column of your data set with minimal effort. It’s awesome for quick manoeuvring around your worksheet with a few clicks.
In my data set below we have cakes sold by a bakery. This is a very short extract but you could imagine hundreds or thousands of lines of products, and navigating to the end of the data set being quite cumbersome scrolling down the data with the mouse.
move around data with double click

All you need to do is place the cursor at the top or anywhere in the data set where you choose.

Then just double click on the cell border of which corresponds to the direction you want to travel in your data set. In this example I want to navigate to the bottom of the data set so I click on the bottom of the cell border to move in a downwards direction.

Equally if you wanted to move horizontally then double click the right hand cell border to move in that direction. Quick isn’t it????? Easy Excel at its best.
