Yes that’s right, you can create not just a quick chart but a super quick chart in excel with just one click of a key.
- Select your data
- Hit the F11 button
Bang!! that’s it. One quick graph of your data with Excel defaulting your graph to data already in column form. I find that this quick method can be really useful if I want a different view of the data for quick comparison to to preview how a graph might look before I start working on it.
This method f charting is in no way pretty, but gets you a chart in super charged time none the less. Let me know what you think of this super fast method.

You also can creat a chart in existing sheet by hiting Altr + F1 (after selecting the whole data)

Hi Barbara:question: There, you said “Select your data” my problem is HOW TO CRAETE THE DATA, e.g. in a simple chart let’s say 4 years sales, showing from $20,000 to $100,000?
